Mass Celebrant - Auxiliary Bishop Salvatore J. Cordileone

He is an auxilary bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego, California. He was ordained a priest on July 9, 1982; appointed auxilary bishop of San Diego by Pope John Paul II on July 5, 2002, and was consecrated bishop on August 21, 2002. The diocese is home to more than 900,000 Catholics in San Diego and Imperial counties. It is the fourth largest diocese in California, with 98 parishes, 16 missions and about 250 priests.

He is a native of San Diego, he attended Crawford High School in San Diego, as well as San Diego State University, the University of San Diego and St. Francis Seminary. He also studied at the Pontifical North American College. After ordination he returned to Rome and obtained a doctorate in canon law.

Alex Montoya was one of the first San Diegans mainstreamed from special education to an integrated school environment in 1980. A triple amputee from birth, Alex uses humor and inspirational stories to motivate, educate, and elevate. Alex has appeared in the major motion films Artificial Intelligence and Minority Report. Alex Montoya is the San Diego Padres' new Director of Latino Relations. Previously he was the Director of Communications for the San Diego County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SDCHCC) and on the event staffs for the San Diego Padres and Chargers. A former Olympic Torch Relay carrier, Alex believes in 'passing the torch' to audiences through presentations given to schools, corporations, and civic organizations like Rotary and Shriners Clubs.

Alex is a 1996 graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.A. Communications) and was named to San Diego Magazine's “50 San Diegans To Watch” list in 2000. He lives in San Diego and is the author of the upcoming book, Always Positive, the Alex Montoya Story, a journey of Hope, Faith and Attitude.

Katrina Zeno specializes in the 'theology of the body,' the single life, the genius of woman, and chastity formation Katrina brings a dynamic and personal dimension to her speaking. She is the author of Every Woman's Journey: Answering 'Who am I' for the Feminine Heart and the co-host of a 13-part series for EWTN on the theology of the body as well as the host for a 13-part series on the Genius of Women for Catholic Familyland TV.

Currently, Katrina is the coordinator of the John Paul II Resource Center for Theology of the Body and Culture for the Diocese of Phoenix, Arizona.

Michele Fleming, speaks to Catholic adults and teenagers about dating, discernment, and applying biblical principles to dating life. Her dating seminars have been heard on St. Joseph's Radio and numerous conferences and retreats across the west coast. She is currently a graduate student in Clinical Psychology and Theology and her specialty is the integration of the two fields. She is also the Director of Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of San Diego.

Recently married in 2006, Michele and her husband Dan work with singles and engaged couples, witnessing on how to follow God's plan for their dating and marriage lives..

Cyril Jones-Kellett is the editor of San Diego’s Catholic newspaper The Southern Cross. He lives in Oceanside, CA, with his wife Missy, their three children, and two dogs. Jones-Kellett graduated from Boston College with a degree in theology and received an M.A. in literature from the University of Massachusetts. He taught at Xaverian Brothers Catholic High School in Massachusetts and then lived at the Catholic Worker House in Boston, which serves homeless men. He also worked for several years doing street outreach for mentally ill and addicted homeless people.

During his eight-year tenure as editor of The Southern Cross, the paper has won more than 50 awards. It has twice taken top honors at the annual meeting of the Catholic Press Association of the U.S. and Canada, and it has been a finalist among the top tier of Catholic papers six times.
