Why did you choose JP Catholic?

I was very interested in filmmaking in high school, and soon decided that I wanted to pursue it as a career through college. There were plenty of film schools, but I wanted to go somewhere where I would be around people who shared my Catholic faith. JP Catholic was the perfect place; it focused on film and media, it was Catholic, and it was even near Hollywood.

Why did you choose your major?

I loved filmmaking, and hated math. I knew I wanted to become a film director, and going through the business degree would simply not have been a good idea. And after looking over the class matrix online, I knew that every one of those classes were exactly what I wanted to learn. Picking my major was very easy.

What are your favorite campus activities?

My easy first favorite is the barbecues. Any college student is happy with free food and good friends. I also really like the movie nights in the Perch, and at school, and I sometimes like the big event activities that take place at the school, especially when there is free food involved.

Who is your favorite professor?

Nathan Scoggins
