Preamble on Non-Discrimination Policy
The IRS considers a university that selects students and staff on the basis of membership in a religious
denomination or unit as not discriminating if membership in the denomination or unit is open to all on a racially
nondiscriminatory basis. The Roman Catholic Church has members from and is open to all racial groups. John Paul the Great Catholic University requires a commitment to its core vision and mission from all of its faculty and staff.
For Students
Compliant with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, John Paul the Great Catholic University admits qualified students of any race, color, creed, national and ethnic origin, disability, and sex, to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. John Paul the Great Catholic University does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin or religion in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarships, athletics and other school administered programs.
Home-Schooled Students: JP Catholic encourages home-schooled students to consider furthering their education after completion of their high school curriculum. Students are asked to submit a high school transcript indicating the coursework, curriculum, and grades received in their program. Greater emphasis is placed upon the results of the ACT or SAT standardized test for consideration of admission. Further questions should be directed to the Admissions office at JP Catholic.
