Practicum - New Evangelization
JP Catholic’s New Evangelization major gives students experience and guidance in the art of teaching. Students learn how to distill what they learn on an advanced academic level into a form that can be powerfully communicated. To prepare for this task, students focus on ways to apply what their learning to their own lives and gain real experience teaching through JP Catholic’s Practica classes.
The Practica involves teaching two courses on Catholicism at the parish level which integrates Scripture as well as constructive discussion and criticism with faculty and fellow students.
