Online Learning Option

Pending WASC approval
Following a Structural Change review, JP Catholic University, which is in the 'Candidacy' stage of its accreditation process, has been granted final approval by WASC for its on-campus MA degree in Biblical Theology (first Master's degree program, and thus a new degree level) and MBA degree in Film Producing, effective August 31, 2012. The online MA in Biblical Theology is still pending WASC approval. New students should enroll in our online certificate programs until WASC approval is obtained for the online MA program. Accessible and Academically Rigorous
All of the Masters in Biblical Theology program curriculum is available online. Distance students have the opportunity to take any of the classes from the academically rigorous program.

Our online learning experience helps you get the most out of your education. All Biblical Theology classes are available in high-quality video created in our state-of-the-art production facilities, so you can be immersed in the actual classroom experience. Classes are available all quarter, so you can view the lectures multiple times and ask questions on the class discussion thread.

Human Interaction
In the online environment, it critical to learn through interactions with professors and fellow students. We offer a learning community, using tele-conferencing and message boards - bringing you the experience of stopping into a professor's office to ask questions. You are able to personally interact and learn from your professors during their online office hours and form online study groups with your fellow students.

Progress at Your Own Pace
The certificate programs are structured to accommodate students who have families, full-time jobs, and other time-consuming responsibilities. If you only have the time or resources to take one class a quarter, that's an option. JP Catholic encourages students to take as many classes as they can - it's a much better experience if you can finish the program faster, but we understand that there are times when your responsibilities will only allow you to take one. The program is structured to enable to pursue your calling even amidst the busyness of life.
