Apostolate LaunchPad
All New Evangelization program students will go through the LaunchPad process where they build and launch an apostolate or company. Through this process, students learn the practical implications of their desire to spread the Gospel by learning vital business creation and organizational skills.
JP Catholic’s on-campus LaunchPad serves as the critical bridge for student ideas to become sustainable organization or businesses. The Launch Pad helps start-up ideas grow, achieve their creator's goals, and expedite the maturation of the young organizations by providing critical services. These services include experienced mentoring, collaboration, funding strategies and introductions, external resources and low-cost infrastructure including office space, conference facilities, and more. Organizations that participate in the proven mentoring and coaching process used in the LaunchPad are much more likely to succeed compared to the average organization starting without mentoring. JP Catholic encourages Apostolate leaders, locally and nationally to volunteer as mentors for student teams. Mentors provide critical and timely strategic guidance, input on appropriate business models and execution strategies, as well as introducing students to various sources of funding, potential partners, and if appropriate distribution and sales channels.
If you are interested in being a mentor for student teams please send an email to Dominic Iocco at diocco@jpcatholic.com expressing your interest and areas of expertise.
