On behalf of the Board of Trustees and all of the volunteers at The New Catholic University for Media & Technology, we wish you a very Blessed and Merry Christmas. We pray that 2005 will be a faith-filled, prosperous and healthy year for you and your family. During 2004, many of you have reached out and helped NCU in its formation with your prayers and as volunteers and benefactors.

Prayer: NCU is solely dependent on your prayers and will succeed only by the will of God. Thank you for all your prayers during 2004. Please continue to pray, asking God for the wisdom, prudence, perseverance and resources to build NCU. Please join our prayer group. Prayer group members are asked to attend Mass or pray the rosary every first Saturday and to include NCU in their prayer intentions.

Benefactors: NCU is completely dependent on the generosity of its benefactors. God has truly blessed NCU in 2004. Since September 1, NCU has benefited from 66 benefactors either by making unrestricted gifts and/or purchasing Inaugural Gala tickets.

  • 3 Benefactors have given gifts between $10,000 and $50,000
  • 5 Benefactors have given gifts between $1,000 and $9,999
  • 8 Inaugural Gala Supporters purchased tables for between $1,250 and $2,500
  • 12 Benefactors have given gifts between $100 and $999
  • 37 Inaugural Gala Supporters purchased ticket(s) for between $125 and $625
  • 1 Benefactor has given a gift between $1 and $99
  • 175 attended the NCU Inaugural Gala

Volunteers: NCU has no paid staff. There are at least 30 volunteers who have performed a variety of tasks over the past year ranging from completing the incorporation application, 501(c)3 application, BPPVE paperwork, curriculum design, strategic planning, administrative help, art work, web-site design, providing introductions, public relations, making phone calls, and doing flowers for the Gala.

A special thanks to people who have provided introductions of their friends and acquaintances to NCU during many breakfasts, lunches, coffees and group meetings. Please keep them coming in 2005. Personal introductions are the best way for NCU to meet potential volunteers and benefactors.
