Family
Lidy and her husband Derry have five children and two grandchildren. They attend Good Shepherd Parish in Mira Mesa.

Career
Lidy attended Mount St Mary's College in Los Angeles where she studied nursing. Her nursing career was short-lived and was replaced by a much more important job as a Mom and volunteer. She has committed endless hours in the formation of JP Catholic University.
